چکیده
While several lower-limb exoskeletons have been designed for adult patients, there remains a lack of pediatric-oriented devices. This paper presented human factor assessment an adjustable pediatric exoskeleton childhood gait assistance. The hip and knee uses frame compatibility with children 6–11 years old. evaluates the device’s comfort ease use through timed donning, doffing, reconfiguration tasks. able-bodied study participants donned device in 6 min 8 s, doffed it 2 29 reconfigured 23 s. results trials suggest that can be easily donned, doffed, to match anthropometrics users. A 6-min unpowered walking experiment was conducted while child participant wore exoskeletal device. Inspection both yielded no evidence damage either or wearer. Participant feedback on positive system usability scale rating 80/100. minor improvements made adjustability indicators padding placement, indicate is suitable further experimental evaluation assistive control assessments.

There are numerous causes that can affect the functioning of the human locomotor system, leading to the appearance of joint disorders in the lower limb and generating atypical gait patterns. The importance of research and development in assistance technologies to compensate pathological gait have been recognised since the beginning of the twentieth century and numerous challenges still lie ahea...
متن کاملCustomizable Rehabilitation Lower Limb Exoskeleton System
Disabled people require assistance with the motion of their lower limbs to improve rehabilitation. Exoskeletons used for lower limb rehabilitation are highly priced and are not affordable to the lowerincome sector of the population. This paper describes an exoskeleton lower limb system that was designed keeping in mind that the cost must be as low as possible. ...
متن کاملKinematic and Dynamic Analysis of a Lower Limb Exoskeleton
This paper will provide the kinematic and dynamic analysis of a lower limb exoskeleton. The forward and inverse kinematics of proposed exoskeleton is performed using Denevit and Hartenberg method. The torques required for the actuators will be calculated using Lagrangian formulation technique. This research can be used to design the control of the proposed exoskeleton. Keywords—Dynamic Analysis...

Nowadays, engineering is working side by side with medical sciences to design and create devices which could help to improve medical processes. Physiotherapy is one of the areas of medicine in which engineering is working. There, several devices aimed to enhance and assist therapies are being studied and developed. Mechanics and electronics engineering together with physiotherapy are developing...
متن کاملDeveloping a Mobile Lower Limb Robotic Exoskeleton for Gait Rehabilitation
A new compact mobile lower limb robotic exoskeleton (MLLRE) has been developed for gait rehabilitation for neurologically impaired patients. This robotic exoskeleton is composed of two exoskeletal orthoses, an active body weight support (BWS) system attached to a motorized mobile base, allowing over-ground walking. The exoskeletal orthosis is optimized to implement the extension and flexion of ...
